The Ivy Group is a specialty services consulting company that uses its expertise in Architecture, Engineering and Construction in performing forensic and building science services for our clients. We also offer sustainable design consulting and LEED AP consulting services.

Q. What are the Ivy Group's main services?

We specialize in Building Sciences, and we serve as Forensic Architects, Expert Witnesses, and Sustainable Design Consultants. In providing these services, we also write detailed reports, take photos, create presentations, and assist with courtroom story boards. Q. How does Ivy Group charge for their services?

Normally we charge hourly. However, on occasion, we do offer Fixed Fee or Lump Sum services. It depends on the client and the needs of the case or project.

Q. Do you work throughout the U.S.?

Our work has predominantly been in the Southeastern United States, although we do have contacts around the country to get things done for our clients. We are currently licensed in both Florida and Georgia.

Q. Why is your company called "Ivy Group Consulting"?

           The founders of the company remembered a funny quote:
"Doctors bury their mistakes. Lawyers hang them. Journalists put theirs on the front page. Architects and Builders cover them in ivy." --Anonymous

The idea is that we know there can be hidden defects in buildings; whether these defects had anything to do with the architects or builders is not our intended meaning. We are here to uncover a building's defects and report the origin using scientific and professional methodology. We state the facts as we see them, analyze them, report them, and then others make their case based on those facts.
