The Ivy Group is pleased to announce its status as an Associate Member in the insurance organization, Institute for Home and Business Safety, commonly known as IBHS. The IBHS organization is strategic in providing services and research to its member insurers. The Ivy Group regularly provides expert consulting services for the insurance industry in the form of property damage assessment reports, property mitigation reports as well as offering our expert opinions regarding design and construction defects in buildings and properties throughout the Southeastern United States.

The Institute for Business & Home Safety’s mission is to reduce the social and economic effects of natural disasters and other property losses by conducting research and advocating improved construction, maintenance and preparation practices.
Vision
The Institute for Business & Home Safety envisions a nation that promotes resiliency from natural disasters and other property losses by developing an infrastructure that is damage-resistant and through personal and corporate action that helps minimize disruption to normal life and work patterns.
Membership
Our members are insurers and reinsurers that conduct business in the United States or reinsure risks located in the United States. Affiliate membership is open to brokers, managing general agents and independent agents. Associate membership is open to all others who support our mission.
IBHS provides DisasterSafety.org as a service to homeowners and small business owners as part of its overall mission of reducing property losses.
